Mini Grip Van is the easiest Grip Van or Grip truck to book in Toronto!
DRIVER INCLUDED
A driver is provided with Mini Grip Van and will remain with the van throughout the rental.
SWING UPGRADE
A driver can be upgraded to a Swing (Lighting and Grip Technician) who will help out on set. A Driver upgraded to a Swing is not to be placed in any supervisory role on the day(s) of work.
PARKING GARAGES
Mini Grip Van will fit in any parking garage with a clearance of at least 6’3″ or 1.9m. You wont find another Grip Truck or Sprinter Van that can do that!
INSURANCE REQUIRED
We require you to have a certificate of insurance for all bookings listing Mini Grip Van as the loss payee.
ADDITIONAL COSTS
• Possible cleaning charge for any equipment returned notably unclean.
• Producer is responsible for any parking fees and parking tickets.
• Producer is entitled to 80km per shoot day included, measured from Regent Park, Toronto. Producers using more than the 80km will be charged $0.30 for each km in excess of the limit.
• Overtime Rates for Driver/Swing.

The service area is within a 100km radius from Regent Park, Toronto.

Mini Grip Van operates within Canada.
MGV requires the Producer to obtain $75,000 in Property Insurance Coverage, listing MGV as Loss Payee for loss or damage to property rented as well as $2,000,000 in General Liability Coverage, naming MGV as an additional insured on your liability insurance.
MGV Driver/Swing operates on a Standard 10 hour work day with a 1 hour meal break (10+1). Hours are billed door-to-door, meaning from the time the Driver leaves Home (Travel Start) until the Driver has returned back Home at the end of the work day (Travel End).
Overtime is calculated in 30 minute increments taking effect after the 12th hour of work for a Driver or the 10th hour of work for a Swing, inclusive of travel time. Overtime Rates can be found in the chart below.

On any shoot that goes longer than 6 hours, production is required to provide lunch/dinner for the driver.
Unfortunately, Mini Grip Van now has to charge taxes to its customers.
The storage system inside of Mini Grip Van was designed to carry the specific equipment that comes with the van. Every inch of space in the van, and every pound of weight in the van is maximized to be as efficient as possible to deliver an incredible product, in a small nimble van.
As a result, Mini Grip Van is not able to pickup any extra gear except the gear it comes with.
